Support, privacy & refunds

You're uploading your face and paying for it. TaperCheck uses your photo only to make the preview you ask for, then deletes private images on a short schedule unless you choose to keep them. Plain answers to the three things worth asking — your photo, your money, a bad result — are below.

Before you upload

One photo, one purpose: your preview. We don't sell it, post it, or use it to train anything.

Retention and deletion

Private images are short-lived by default:

  • Rejected uploads — deleted within 2 hours.
  • Your uploaded photo — deleted within 24 hours, unless you choose to keep a history.
  • Generated previews — kept 7 days so you can download or show them, then deleted, unless you choose to keep a history.

Request deletion: email support to request deletion of your photos, previews, or account data. We check the request comes from your account email before deleting any private files.

What happens when something goes wrong.

Preview didn't generate

If no usable image comes back, we return the credit or grant a replacement — you don't lose anything for a technical failure.

Result is clearly wrong

If a preview changes your face, ignores the cut you asked for, or comes back as obvious wig/helmet hair, send it to support within 7 days for one replacement credit.

For checkout or credit-balance questions, we check the payment record before changing anything.
